The models were repaired and checked for printability.

If everything goes according to plan, this is the first of several Umbrella Gland...Show more Plant models. New models will be uploaded separately. However, I'll also add them here.

This is a younger one. A few weeks later it will grow higher and open up. This way the 'umbrella' can protect the inside from hard sunlight and radiation.
This plant likes hot and dry environments. It can attach itself to all kinds of surfaces. As it doesn't have deep roots it will get water and nutrient matter from the air at night. This way it can even grow on rocks, buildings, scrap metal or junk yards.

Hope you like it. Have fun!

Btw: Like my last few models, this one also features a small hole on the bottom. This can come in handy when painting the plant. This way it can be turned into a plant on a stick which makes holding it a lot easier.)

One last thing: This is a fairly easy print - and it prints very nicely without any support.
