Model Description
-Update 4/13/17
-Added redesign file bottom V2.1. Took the beveled edges off the bottom surface that are along the sides (left flat and at 90 degrees) as those...Show more failed while printing on the first try... You may have better luck printing the original V2, but I did not... The bevels were purely a cosmetic touch anyhow and in no way effect the structure. Also with V2.1 added a bevel to the board mounting stand offs so there's more clearance for the board components (solder joints) on the bottom. Don't really know if there would have been any interference issues, was just more of a precaution. Also, reuploaded the top V1, V2, and V3. The fan mounting holes were WAY to large and the head on the screw to mount the fan would have just fell right through...
-Uploaded V2.1 files for the display cables, power cables, and vent sides. Just some more edge beveling to clean up the end look. Very small changes.

This control board is what came with my FLSUN Prusia I3 style printer (this box may possibly work with other control boards as well). Hated the way it originally mounted to flimsy acrylic "bars" and was out in the open with all the wires hanging out. Couldn't find a box with the features I wanted, so I designed this one myself. This is only a concept at this point as I have yet to print it.

-Can be mounted multiple ways to 20x20 extruded aluminum via mounting holes on the bottom plate with 4mm hardware.
-Board is to be mounted to the bottom plate with small screws.
-Completely prints as individual parts (bottom, top, and 4 sides). Bottom and sides are press fit together; should hold fine just by pressing together but a little glue could be used to strengthen the structure if wanted. Top is to be held on with 4 small screws.
-Posts inside allow wrapping of extra wire to take up slack (stepper motor and limit switch wires mostly...)
-Lid accommodates an 80mm fan for PLENTY of airflow over the stepper drivers, and should be a little quieter than smaller fans in similar box designs. The fan is contained INSIDE the box, not screwed to the outside. This makes the box a little larger than some others, but not outrageously large... Just use a standard 12v PC fan (most of you probably have one laying around) and cut off the plug, wire into the 12v input of the board, and the fan will always be on with the board.
-Vents are placed along the side with the drivers to help pull the air the fan brings into the box over the driver heat sinks and out of the box. Coiled up wires shouldn't affect air flow here too much...
-Access holes on the sides for USB port, 12V and stepper motor wires, and display cables.

I remixed the top and a couple sides with "MKS GEN_L V1.0" wording, but of course basic blank ones are included if you don't want the wording (I know some prefer the cleaner look, some like the extra flash). These remixed ones with wording are the V3 files.

V2 files are the final ones with cleaned up beveled edges and are going to be the preferred
