...Show more FreeCAD editing was involved; I enlarged the hands so it would fit the 13cm+ body width of my acoustic bass guitar and the guitar neck. First picture shows the FreeCAD design using a guitar design taken from GrabCAD as a reference. Other pictures shoiw the printed hands mounted on the wall in my home studio without and with the guitar. It came out very nice. Maybe add a nice wall painting behind the guitar....
Prints took around 20 hours for each hand on my printer at speed setting 65mm/sec.
I have printed the same set of hands at 50% size to fit a soprano ukelele. The mounting holes are 50% as well so you’ll need screws with a small head.
