The stock FMS F/A 18 wingtip missile rail is just EPO foam, is soft, fragile and ugly. This rail mounts into the same wingtip slots. For ease of printing the
...Show more mounting lugs are printed separately and glued into the slots in the rail, and the small airfoil leading edge needs to be attached to align with your particular wing. Both left and right handed prints of these are needed.
My printer is not big enough to print the rail in one piece. If your printer IS big enough you should join the two parts in a STL editor (TinkerCAD can do this) and print in one piece.
EDIT: I have added the one-piece rail. It still needs the mounting lug to be glued in.
I have also included a file for the wingtip mount in case the stock one doesn't fit. I've noticed a bit of difference from one to another on my wings.
