...Show more well. I made a replacement base with a turbine compressor using an RC car motor. It turned out to be a bit of overkill as you could also use it as a leaf blower( See https://youtu.be/PBDt1imDGJE). In the end the new base and the fan worked well and generated a good breeze, however the noise it makes renders it impractical to actually use as a fan.
