Keep your valuables and secrets safe by hiding them in plain sight. This Model...Show more prints easily in only 3 pieces and looks quite convincing. The safe is held shut with friction and opens with the pull on the book mark ribbon. Assembly is a snap and only requires a rubber band, a ribbon, and super glue.

Notes:
Printing the book cover upright is recommended. The cover will have a tendency to warp so make sure your bed is level. We used a small amount of PVA glue on a glass build plate to make sure warp was minimized.

Print the book center WITH support.

It is a good idea to assemble the lever before installing the book center. Pass a ribbon through the slot and glue it to the short end of the lever. For a standard office rubber band, double up the rubber band and wrap it around the back of th

The book center is a VERY Tight fit. We used a bit of soap and used a rubber mallet to get it into place. You could scale the model down in makerware if you want but we wanted a perfect fit look with no gap.
