Hi Guys
This is my design for a TIE Striker taken mostly from the from the Rogue One
...Show more concept artwork book with a few design changes to make it easy to print and, as always, better weaponry. I was a long way down the design road before I realised that the wings are supposed to pivot and swing up and down.....Doh!….Maybe I'll update it at a later date but for now the wings are fixed.
As far as printing goes the forward wing section is VERY tall and flimsy. I braced mine as the print got near the top to stop it wobbling but be careful you don't move it out of alignment. Probably be better to just go really slow when you get near the top.
All printed at .2 layer height with 5% infill.
I've included my stand base and I used a 6mm brass tube to support the model (the model has no hole so you will need to add your own) You may want to design your own base if you don't like mine. The canopy is printed in clear PLA with a 20% infill.
