Description

3D Scanning 3D laser scanning is the process of capturing and acquiring the surface geometry of a physical object into virtual space. Our commercial-grade scanner utilizes a series of lasers and cameras to accurately measure physical objects and transcribe the dimensions, shapes and surfaces into computerized data. The scanned data is highly accurate and can be later used for reverse-engineering, product development, inspection, or simply for archiving, documenting, or back-up purposes.   Reverse Engineering Reverse engineering, also called backwards engineering or back engineering, is the process by which an artificial object is deconstructed to reveal its designs, architecture, code, or to extract knowledge from the object. Reverse engineering is the process of breaking down a part, product, or software to discover how it was assembled and how it works. Engineers can then take what they learned to fix defects or even make new products.
