Great starter printer for those new to 3D printing. Good value for the cost, without breaking the budget. Maintenance is a little more hands-on, but is very simple and easy to do.
Overall a great beginner printer. Large community to help with troubleshooting problems. Great printer for the money.
It's a great printer after tuning and tweaking it's settings
This is a highly upgraded cr-10 that is insanely reliable.

The Creality is probably the best 3D printer for its very low price. It's also very reliable and has a very easy conception. The printer is very reliable and can handle very long prints without any errors or failures. I am really satisfied of this printer. Equipped with a BondTech extruder and a E3D hotend makes this printer a must!

Simple to repair if you have issues. Parts are readily available

Good prints and a big print volume. Not for startes or people who don't like tinkering or repairing the machine themselves. If it works it is a brilliant machine.

Very nice printer for that amount of money. You need to know your printer, after that every print will be a success. Lot of simple extra upgrades can be made. The software doesn't need any explanation. There is a large community, so tips and trics are always available.

The Creality cr 10 is not an easy to use printer, but the large community got your back. If you need help just ask after a few hours they're always somebody willing to help.
These printers are my work horses they handle a big bulk of my Treatstock work. Just not great for anything outside of PLA as they can not take the higher temps with out upgrades.

F.A.Q. about Creality CR-10

  • How to properly set up the Creality CR-10?

Most owners claim that it’s very easy to put the Creality CR-10 together. However, you should keep in mind that this machine still demands a certain amount of skill and knowledge. Some screws can be lost during shipping, so it’s better to check that they’ve all arrived before starting, and don’t forget to adjust the wheels on each axis. If you can spin the wheel and not move the axis, it needs a little adjustment.  It’s also important to check the flatness of the glass and if it’s warped, you can either purchase a replacement glass or a mirror from IKEA."It’s not a push-button machine - you have to know what you’re doing and understand what symptoms you’re seeing in prints and how to correct them. But once you have experience, the machine is a joy to use", says Andrew Davie. He is the man behind the manufacturing service Doctor Boo's Astounding 3D Printing Press on Treatstock and moderator for the biggest Creality CR-10 group on Facebook.

They look the same, and some of you may be wondering whether it’s just a re-branding or another version of the CR-10? Well, a Hictop representative claims that the “original” Creality CR-10 and the version sold by Hictop are the exact same products and that Hictop is just an authorized seller.
